The blue and white palette of colours of Roose town house is complimented by the warm brown of  old wooden floors, doors, walls and staircases. Brought forward from underneath old layers of paint, in places shaded with a transparent white mordant,  they all create an illusion of the wood grain shining through a light dust of time. Or could it be the spirit of an old house?

One of our first guest who stayed at the town house in 2008, said they would keep the house to themselves and not let visitors stay there, were the house theirs.
Yet, anyone that takes the time to unwind and make their way to Hiiumaa are welcome to stay at the Roose town house in Linnumäe near Kärdla.
